Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is a combination of two fields, Computer Science and Computer Engineering.

At CSE, we study the principles of engineering that involve the design, engineering, development, integration, and testing of a computer system at almost all levels. This branch of engineering also includes applied areas of mathematics and science, electrical and electronics theory, materials engineering and programming fundamentals. Computer science and engineering students will learn basic engineering techniques, like other engineering students, during the first-year course. These techniques include engineering mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering drawing. From the second year they are exposed to basic computer science topics such as programming, data structures, digital logic, theoretical computer science, algorithms, computer networks, operating systems, web technologies, databases, and computer architecture. CSE is associated with the invention and development of software and hardware.
This is really an excellent field for both postgraduate and software company opportunities. As computing has been widely applied in almost every sphere of life, it has created huge jobs for CSE students. At the same time, more demand and application has kept research funding alive and attracted many students to choose graduate studies.
